Planning a Miami bachelorette boat party? You’re in the right place! At Vice Boat Club, we’ve hosted over 500 unforgettable bachelorette celebrations on the water.
We know you probably have questions about how it all works, from what’s included to what to bring to what happens if it rains. This guide covers it all, so you can book with confidence and get ready for the best day ever on a boat in Miami.
What is included in the boat rental price?
Our pricing is all-inclusive, it covers the boat rental, fuel, marina fees, and the captain.
👉 The only thing not included is the crew gratuity (tip), which is optional but very much appreciated (see below for more details on tipping).
We believe in transparent pricing: no hidden fees, no surprises!
How much is the deposit and when is the remaining balance due?
We require a 30% deposit at the time of booking to secure your boat.
The remaining 70% balance is due the Monday before your trip.
If you prefer to pay the full amount earlier, or on a specific date, just let us know, we are happy to accommodate that.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please refer to our cancellation policy detailed on your booking confirmation.
In general:
Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a partial refund.
If weather conditions are unsafe (see below), we offer the option to reschedule or receive a credit.
Cancellations due to light rain or small showers do not qualify for a refund — Miami weather is often unpredictable but typically clears up quickly.
How many people can we bring?
Most private boats in Miami are legally limited to 13 passengers max, this is a U.S. Coast Guard regulation.
We offer boats for up to 13 guests. If you have a larger group, we can arrange two coordinated boats so everyone can celebrate together. Learn more in our blog about this regulation.
What time slots are available for booking?
Time slots vary depending on the boat, whether your trip is on a weekday, and the season.
In summer and on weekends (including Fridays), the most common time slots for a 4-hour trip are:
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
If you’re booking during the week or off-season, we may offer additional time options, just ask us!
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Absolutely! All of our boats are BYOB (bring your own beverages). You are welcome to bring your own drinks, snacks, or full meals.
We also offer boat provisioning and catering options if you’d like us to handle everything for you (see below).
What is boat provisioning and how does it work?
Boat provisioning is a service where we do the shopping for you and have everything ready on board when you arrive. From drinks and snacks to waters, mixers, or anything else you request.
How it works:
You send us your shopping list one week before your trip.
We shop and stock the boat with everything on your list.
Anything left at the end of the trip? You’re welcome to take it with you!
This is a great way to save time and ensure a stress-free party.
Will we have time to swim and enjoy the water?
Of course!
For a typical 4-hour rental, you’ll usually have around 2 hours to enjoy swimming and the water, depending on your itinerary.
Your captain will anchor the boat in one of Miami’s beautiful swim spots, it’s one of the highlights of the day!
Can we add extras after booking (catering, decorations, boat provisioning)?

Definitely.
You can book your boat first, and then decide later if you want to add:
Catering
Decorations
Boat provisioning
We just ask that you notify us at least one week before your trip so we have time to coordinate everything perfectly.
How do we tip the crew?
Tipping is optional but very much appreciated.
If you loved your experience (and we hope you will!), tips typically range from 10% to 20% of the total boat rental price.
The tip is given directly to the crew on the day of your trip, usually to the captain or captain + first mate, depending on your boat.
Most of our crews accept cash, Zelle, or Venmo. You can ask your captain what they prefer.
Can we play our own music on board?
Yes! All of our boats have Bluetooth speakers so you can play your favorite playlist and set the vibe. Just bring your phone or music device and you’re good to go.
Are children allowed on board?
Of course! Children are welcome on all of our boats.
Please note that children under 5 must wear a life jacket specifically designed for their age. You can bring your own, or let us know in advance so we can check availability for you.
Can we bring floats or pool toys?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own floats or pool toys.
Just please let us know in advance, so we can check whether your boat has an air pump available.
What happens in case of bad weather?
We do not cancel trips for light rain or passing showers, Miami weather often clears up quickly.
We only cancel or reschedule trips if the weather is severe and poses a safety risk (such as strong winds, thunderstorms, or dangerous marine conditions).
Our team and your captain monitor the weather closely and will always prioritize your safety.
What type of boat should we choose?
That depends on your vibe! We offer boats for every style:
Instagram-worthy pink boats for the photo-loving bride
Luxury yachts for a glam, high-end experience
Party boats with DJs and fun-focused crews
Fun pontoons with waterslides for playful, adventurous groups
